I.E.M.E. Corporate Overview
IEME is a company that specializes in several disciplines
which include but not limited to Emergency Medical and Rescue Education,
Tactical EMS Education, OSHA Education, Consulting and Medical/Rescue Standby
services.
IEME has two divisions that deliver different services
depending on the division's specialty and unique requirements of the clients.
The divisions are: the Institute for Emergency Medical Education and I.E.M.E.
Northeast.
The Institute for Emergency Medical
Education division provides educational services to the Emergency
Medical Services (EMS) agencies and to industry and the community at large. Our
emergency medical education programs are delivered to the individual and to
corporations and governmental agencies. The type of programs range from basic
First Aid/CPR through EMT and Paramedic Training as well as professional
development. The delivery methods for these programs range from physical
classes to web based distance learning.
The I.E.M.E. Northeast division provides
educational, operational and consulting services to private industry, government
agencies and rescue agencies. Our educational programs both complement our EMS
division's medical programs by adding additional programs that go beyond the
standard scope of practice and arena of EMS providers and expand into areas of
emergency veterinary medicine. Our educational programs also assist companies
maintain OSHA compliance where employee education is required. These include,
but not limited too, assisting company train personnel responsible for providing
confined space rescue or other technical rescue training, fall protection or
HAZWOPER and fire extinguisher training. Our operational aspect picks up were
the training aspect could no longer meet the needs of an agency by providing a
private technical rescue team for standby work for confined space and other
technical rescue environments. We also offer medical standby services with
qualified EMTs and Paramedics for events and work sites. Our consulting services
are far ranging and include assisting industry in maintaining OSHA compliance by
developing and maintaining Medical Response Teams or Emergency Response Teams,
as well as fire investigation, safety recommendations and emergency
planning.
